Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Waltersam Technologies regarding your use of the étude app and website (the “Service”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must provide accurate information when you register and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. If you are below the age of majority in your country, you should use étude with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

You agree not to:

• Share, resell or redistribute course content without permission.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts, or disrupt, reverse-engineer or abuse the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to infringe others' rights.

All lessons, questions, mock exams, branding and software that make up the Service are owned by Waltersam Technologies or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for your own exam preparation.

We work to keep content aligned with the relevant exam syllabi, but étude is a study aid and does not guarantee any particular exam outcome. Always confirm requirements with your official examination body.

Some content requires a paid subscription. Subscription plans, their duration and price (in Nigerian Naira) are shown to you before you pay. Payments are processed for us by Paystack, a licensed third-party payment processor; we do not receive or store your card, bank or mobile-money details.

Subscriptions run for a fixed term and do not auto-renew — we do not charge you again automatically when a plan ends. Access to subscriber-only content ends when your current term expires, and you may purchase a new term at any time to continue.

For iOS users, subscriptions are purchased through the étude website, not inside the iOS app. On Android, subscriptions may be purchased directly in the app or on this website.

Payments are generally non-refundable once subscriber-only content has been accessed. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@waltersamtechnologies.com and we will review your request.

You may delete your account at any time from within the app — see our Data Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Service or other users.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Waltersam Technologies will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
